Recommendation Blog: Mrs. Matveyeva’s Class Blog

Hello, today I will be recommending Mrs. Matveyeva’s class blog. The class is from Kazakhstan, and has pictures of the class, information about the country and holidays, and much more. Their blog is divided into pages and different sections, like:

1.) “Culture Corner”
2.) Student Blogging Challenge 2019
3.) “Personal Development”
4.) Sports
5.) “Going Green”
6.) Art
7.) Science and Technology

‘Kazakhstan is a transcontinental country largely located in Asia, the ninth largest in the world, with an area of 2,724,900 square kilometres. It has deep lakes, huge mountains, wide valleys, and even desserts. However, nature is not the only thing that fascinates people – Kazakhstan is a fast developing country. In 2017 our country was welcoming visitors from all continents as the host of the international exhibition EXPO-2017 with the main theme “future energy”. ‘ -Mrs. Matveyeva’s class blog.

From this one paragraph, we can see how good their writing is. They also have posts about:

1.) 6 World Famous People From Kazakhstan
2.) Victory Day (When The Soviets Won The Great Patriotic War)
3.) Family Celebrations
4.) Spring Festival Of Nauryz
5.) 10 Most Beautiful Places in Kazakhstan

And many more!

Festivals And Holidays:

I personally love all holidays, most of them require a day off of school! Easter is coming up, so we get a few days off. My brother gets all of next week and this week off!! Our family comes to our house, because we have the biggest and most convenient house of all of our family on my mom’s side. My dad’s side of my family also comes over, but mainly for dinner parties. We mostly all come for Christmas and Easter, both sides.

How are your holidays?

Week 6 Student Blogging

I do play an instrument. It’s the piano. Not really serious, though. More for fun. I am going to maybe become more serious in the future, but I can play decently large noted songs. I might play the guitar, but I am not very sure yet. Hopefully I can learn bigger songs on piano!

Student Blogging Challenge Week 5 [Describing School Grounds]

The school I go to isn’t very large in the amount of students, but the school grounds are well-sized for us. We have one area that’s one of those basin-like places. We use that if there are events going on in the church on the other side, or other reasons. Then, we have a large parking lot with basketball nets and we bring out carts to play football and soccer and other things. We use just the parking lot if the ground is too wet and snowy on the regular playground. Then, we have a playground with a few playsets like monkey bars, those giant combined playsets with slides and climbing things. Then, we have swings, benches, and more. There’s also a smaller playground on the other side for the preschoolers. There’s also, like mentioned before, a Church, Rectory, and some more buildings. In the inside of our school, there’s a Media Center with a stream room for 3D printing and other electronics. There are classrooms from PRE-K to 8th grade. We have a very nice gym with 1 large basketball court and some smaller nets on the side, bleachers, two storage rooms, and there is two holes in the center to put in volleyball nets. There are upstairs rooms for more offices and other classes. We have a music/art room in the upstairs, but in a different area. Then there are other industrial rooms that keep the school running. Like, generators, pipes, and mail rooms. So, yeah, that’s our school grounds and classrooms. Leave a comment of what your school grounds are like!
